The United Front Work Department of Daqing Municipal Committee conducted research on united front work among non-Party members and non-Party intellectuals.
On January 9, Xu Tong, member of the Standing Committee of the Daqing Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, led a team to conduct a special investigation at the Daqing Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Group's "Home for Non-Party Members" and the city's first "Home for Non-Party Intellectuals"—Qingzhi Station.
At the Non-Party Members' Home of Daqing Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Group, the research team inspected the hardware renovation and functional layout of the site, and gained an in-depth understanding of its specific path of leading united front work with Party building and combining site construction with the development of the cultural and tourism industry. At the Qingzhi Station, the research team focused on inquiring about the daily management of the site, the activity organization model, and the progress of the Municipal Intellectuals Association in building the "Oil City United, Intellectuals Working Together" brand, conducting special research, and promoting the transformation of the technological achievements of the "Jia Yongquan Studio" based on the station.
Xu Tong emphasized that non-Party members and intellectuals outside the Party are the "driving force" for Daqing's transformation and revitalization, and an important force in building the "1357" modern industrial system and constructing "three cities." The Daqing Intellectuals Association should act as a "standard-bearer of thought," a "strategist for development," and a "master of the station," using the Daqing Intellectuals Station as a platform to promote the integration and mutual reinforcement of theoretical learning and the inheritance of the revolutionary spirit, guiding non-Party members to offer precise suggestions from the front lines, planning distinctive activities, and activating the effectiveness of the platform. The Daqing Municipal United Front Work Department will continue to provide strong support, guiding non-Party members to closely integrate their personal strengths with the needs of the city and the direction of the nation, demonstrating new achievements and making new contributions in the new practice of building "eight new Daqings."
Officials from the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and the Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Group participated in the research.
