Beijing, January 12 (Reporter Yin Qianyun) – The 5th Online Audiovisual Innovation and Development Forum, themed "New Popular Literature and Art, New Audiovisual Mission," was recently held in Beijing. The forum focused on new trends in online audiovisual media, inviting several academic experts to engage in dialogue on cutting-edge topics such as the application of intelligent technology, innovation in micro-dramas, and the development of audiovisual disciplines.

Hu Zhifeng, Dean of the School of Arts and Media at Beijing Normal University and Vice Chairman of the China Television Artists Association, pointed out that the current development of online audiovisual media in China presents distinct characteristics of being "comprehensive, positive, and vibrant": "Comprehensive" is reflected in the rich variety of content, comprehensive coverage of dissemination channels, and the gradual realization of cross-screen and cross-scene integration; "Positive" emphasizes the guidance of mainstream values and promotes the innovative expression of traditional culture and the spirit of the times in diverse themes; "Vibrant" refers to the active creative ecosystem, continuous iteration of forms, and expressions that are increasingly close to the emotions of the masses.

Professor Chen Changfeng of the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University noted that AI is not only changing the logic of content production and distribution, but also reconstructing human-computer interaction at the semantic level, opening up new spaces for the expression of cultural subjectivity. She emphasized that in the wave of intelligent agents, online audiovisual media should actively focus on interface innovation to build a future communication landscape of human-machine integration and value alignment.

Yu Dan, Dean of the Capital Institute for Cultural Innovation and Communication and Professor of the School of Arts and Media at Beijing Normal University, pointed out that in the AIGC era, it is urgent to break down disciplinary barriers and promote film and television media education to be industry-oriented and integrated with cutting-edge technologies; attention should be paid to the implementation of "new quality productivity" in the cultural field and its positive role in promoting the re-understanding of cultural history.

Leng Song, director and researcher of the Audiovisual Research Office at the Institute of Journalism and Communication, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, believes that media convergence needs to respect the platform's attributes and adapt content accordingly in order to optimize the dissemination effect; cultural and tourism integration can promote cultural integration through "circle thinking" and "scene aesthetics"; and cross-border integration can link industries through the "micro-drama+" model.

This forum was hosted by the School of Arts and Media of Beijing Normal University, and co-organized by the Media Development Research Center and the Online Film and Television Research Center of Beijing Normal University. (End)
