Guangzhou, January 12 (Reporter Wang Jian) -- According to the Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Department on the 12th, the cold air will temporarily leave Guangdong after the 12th, and the whole province will usher in a warming trend.
On the 12th, under the influence of residual cold air, the lowest temperature in Guangdong that morning was still below 5℃ in northern Zhaoqing, northern Huizhou and most cities and counties in northern Guangdong, with temperatures ranging from -1 to 0℃ in high-altitude mountainous areas, with frost or freezing.
The Guangdong Meteorological Bureau stated that the cold air is gradually moving away, and temperatures across the province will begin to rise in the coming days. However, on the 13th, due to the still significant morning clear-sky radiation effect, northern Guangdong will still experience low temperatures not exceeding 5℃. From the 14th to the 15th, relative humidity will increase in some cities and counties in western Guangdong, the western Pearl River Delta, and the southern coastal areas, with increased cloud cover, scattered light rain, and temperatures gradually rising.
Meteorologists predict that on the 13th, the minimum temperature will be 5 to 8℃ in northern Guangdong, 13 to 15℃ in southern coastal areas, and 9 to 12℃ in other areas. On the 14th, the minimum temperature will be 7 to 9℃ in northern Guangdong, 13 to 16℃ in southern coastal areas, and 10 to 12℃ in other areas.
The Guangdong meteorological department stated that the province has been experiencing cold mornings and evenings recently, with frost or freezing conditions in high-altitude mountainous areas. Furthermore, the province's forest fire risk level is high; caution should be exercised when using fire or electricity indoors, especially for heating purposes. Ensure adequate indoor ventilation, and strengthen management of outdoor fire use. (End)
