Tianjin, January 12 (Reporter Wang Junyan) -- The first batch of ecological sea salt projects in my country was officially launched in Tianjin Binhai New Area recently, according to a report from the area on January 11.

The press conference, themed "Standards Leading, Ecological Empowerment, Building a New Future for High-End Salt Products," featured the first batch of certified leading enterprises: Fujian Salt Industry Group, Dalian Salt Chemical Group, Cangzhou Salt Industry Group, Tianjin Changlu Hangu Saltworks, Shandong Lu Salt Group, and Hainan Salt Industry Group. These enterprises showcased their eco-friendly sea salt products, which adhere to unified quality standards while retaining their unique brand characteristics.
Tang Na, Chairperson of the National Ecological Sea Salt Industry Alliance, principal drafter of the "Ecological Sea Salt Evaluation Technical Specifications" and the "Ecological Sea Salt" group standard, and professor at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, explained that the core advantage of ecological sea salt lies in the construction of a full-chain ecological standard system covering basic resources, production energy, environmental control, and finished product quality. Its core essence is "determining the source with ecology, ensuring quality with technology, and leading development with standards," which is also the key difference between it and traditional salt products.
At the press conference, representatives from the six companies jointly stated their commitment to promoting eco-friendly sea salt in the domestic high-end market and onto the international stage, aiming to create a benchmark product for high-quality edible salt globally. (End)
