Data Analysis of China: Ten Years of River Protection Paves the Way for Harmonious Coexistence of Mountains, Rivers, People, and Cities

Ten years ago, the principle of "jointly protecting the Yangtze River and refraining from large-scale development" pointed out a new path for achieving coordinated development and protection of the Yangtze River. Ten years later, the shared river and joint efforts to protect its beauty have created a new picture of harmonious coexistence between the mountains, rivers, people, and cities on both banks.

The Qingjiang River reflects the clear blue waters, its banks lush and green; finless porpoises chase the waves, sturgeon swim in competition… Let us explore six sets of data to understand how this clear river has benefited future generations and all corners of the world.
