January 12 (Xinhua) -- According to a Fox News report on January 11, U.S. President Trump responded to a post on social media that said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio "will be the next leader of Cuba".

The report states that Rubio was born in Miami to Cuban parents who immigrated to the United States in 1956. He has long supported U.S. sanctions against Cuba.
According to US media reports, Trump also posted a picture on social media with the caption "Acting President of Venezuela." CNBC pointed out that while the picture circulated widely online, his claims have not been verified in any publicly available records.
As previously reported, Trump again pressured Cuba on the 11th, threatening that if the country did not reach an agreement soon, it would face a situation of "zero oil and zero capital" inflows.
