The Yunnan "Village Broadcasting Courtyard" project was selected as an outstanding case of the "Model Project" of the National New Social Stratum United Front Work Practice Innovation Base.
Recently, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee issued a list of outstanding cases of the "Excellent Project" of the National New Social Stratum United Front Work Practice Innovation Base. A total of 31 projects from 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities were selected as outstanding cases, and our province's case "Village Broadcasting Courtyard: New Social Stratum Empowering Digital Commerce to Revitalize Agriculture" was successfully selected.
"Village Broadcasting Courtyard" is a new model of practice and innovation base cultivated by the United Front Work Department of Yunnan Provincial Committee. It relies on a physical platform to guide new social strata members to give full play to their live broadcasting skills, serve the needs of the central government and the overall situation, and create a new social strata force to empower rural revitalization.
The project is specifically overseen by Sun Ligang, head of the Rural Revitalization Service Team of the Yunnan Provincial New Social Stratum Association and chairman of Village Broadcasting (Yunnan) Technology Co., Ltd. Through a linkage model of "base + courtyard + villagers" and a cultivation path of "theory + practice + support", the project provides supporting facilities such as incubation financing and one-stop logistics for Village Broadcasting Cloud Warehouse, bringing the market to the doorsteps of ordinary people and making "live streaming a new form of farming", demonstrating the construction power of the new social stratum in leading farmers to prosperity.
In 2025, eight "village livestreaming courtyards" in Wuhua, Shilin, Luquan, Jinning, Zhanyi, Songming, Xundian, and Wuding conducted over 4,000 special events and livestreams to support farmers, trained 1,398 village livestreamers, and achieved a total sales volume of over 54 million yuan. The plan is to establish 100 such courtyards throughout the province in the future.
