The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC") notes that the consultations between the relevant government departments of China and the EU regarding the anti-subsidy case for electric vehicles have achieved positive results. The European Commission has issued a "Guidance Document on the Submission of Price Undertaking Applications" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidance Document"), which allows Chinese electric vehicle companies to submit price undertaking applications. The European Commission has committed to conducting objective and impartial reviews of applications submitted by Chinese companies based on the principle of non-discrimination and using uniform standards. Eligible companies can use price undertakings to replace anti-subsidy duties.

The China Chamber of Commerce for Machinery and Electronic Products believes that a proper resolution to the EU's anti-subsidy case against Chinese electric vehicles is a common expectation of the upstream and downstream industries of the electric vehicle sector in both China and the EU. This will help promote the security and stability of related industrial and supply chains between China and the EU, and safeguard the overall situation of China-EU economic and trade cooperation and international economic and trade order. After multiple rounds of consultations between China and the EU, an agreement was reached on a proper solution, successfully achieving a "soft landing" for the case. The Chamber of Commerce for Machinery and Electronic Products thanks the Ministry of Commerce of China for its extensive work and positive results in effectively safeguarding the interests of relevant industries, and will encourage and support the companies involved to fully utilize the consultation results and strive to secure their export rights to the EU through price undertaking applications, thereby promoting the healthy development of China-EU industrial cooperation.
