A businessman spent millions more to buy Luo Baoming's old property.

The second episode of the anti-corruption documentary series "Never Stop, Never Back Down," titled "Severely Punishing Corruption Through Collusion Between Government and Business," premiered, featuring Luo Baoming, former vice chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee of the 13th National People's Congress and former secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, confessing his crimes. Details of his corruption case were also revealed. The documentary disclosed that Luo Baoming's power-for-money transactions with a Tianjin businessman surnamed Du were concealed by the sale of a property at an inflated price. Luo Baoming used his position to help Du secure numerous construction projects in Hainan, while Du purchased an old property owned by the Luo family in Tianjin for several million yuan, far exceeding the market price. This seemingly legal transaction was used to conduct an illegal exchange of benefits.
