Wuhan is a special city full of historical, cultural and revolutionary atmosphere. It carries too much historical honor and expectation. It is a famous town with ancient flavor and a revolutionary holy place in modern times. The ancient and modern are blended together. Here is a guide for self-guided travel in Wuhan.
I believe that every city has its own flavor, which I will never forget even if I leave.
The memories left by history are the most profound.
A city that has experienced many vicissitudes of life has always occupied an important position in the changes of history. Even in its prosperous today, it still retains a heavy sense of history.
Riding a shared yellow bike through the streets of Wuhan, with the breeze blowing, I happened to see a scene like this. It looked like a still from a movie, with a feeling of being from several decades ago.
This is what I saw on the way to Hubu Lane. It feels like a very old shop. It is rare to see such shops in today's city surrounded by supermarkets. There was an old lady in the shop, mending clothes with her head down. It was quiet and peaceful, simple yet beautiful.
A small pub with various wine bottles displayed together, which is quite unique. I didn’t go in, but just looked at it from the outside. I liked it very much and it felt great.
The ancient alleys look a bit messy, dusty and should be out of place in the bustling city of Wuhan, but for some reason, they feel very harmonious.
Before coming to Wuhan, I thought it was a bustling city, but I never imagined there would be such an old place, very much like a scene in a movie.
This is a bookstore, the kind I often visited when I was a kid. When I walked in, I saw all kinds of test papers, including the one my younger brother was doing. There was an old man reading a newspaper at the door. Everything was quiet. When I took the photo, the store owner managed to steal the spotlight, but then dodged in an instant.
Here, I would like to say that these photos were all taken on Minzhu Road, on the way to Hubu Lane.
That day, the sky was blue and the sun was warm.
This was in Shouyi Park. Four people were sitting around a stone table. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, leaving mottled shadows. Not far from them, an old man was taking pictures of the sky.
When I was taking pictures, I seemed to be discovered, but no one paid any attention to me. I guess they didn't know that they had become the scenery in my lens.
This is a very old building on Yanzhi Street, on the way to Tanhualin.
It’s also on Rouge Street, not far from where the previous photo was taken.
If it weren't for chance, I probably wouldn't have walked into the alley next to Tanhualin. Who would have thought that there was such a quiet alley next to the bustling Tanhualin.
High-rise buildings, electric wires, corridors, alleys, and residents.
