Preface:

Every time I go home, I have to pass by Huashan. Looking from the train window, the overlapping, large white rocks seem to be full of mysteries, waiting for people to explore. I like climbing mountains, I like the challenge of reaching the limit, I like the feeling of sweating, and I like the pleasure of climbing to the top and looking down on all the other mountains. This time, the weather was pleasant, so I decided to climb Huashan.

Arrive at Yuquan Road at 2pm - buy equipment - climb East Peak at night at 9pm - arrive at East Peak at 4am - watch the sunrise at 5:30am - South Peak - West Peak - take the cable car down the West Peak at 11am

Huashan main expenses

A night hotel at Yuquan Road costs 100 yuan; Huashan ticket (student ticket) costs 90 yuan + 10 yuan insurance; a kite flip costs 30 yuan + a photo costs 30 yuan; the Changkong plank road costs 30 yuan; the Xifeng cableway costs 140 yuan, and the student ticket is 10% off, but I didn’t pay attention and didn’t buy it + the bus costs 40 yuan; equipment (purchased at Yuquan Road at the foot of the mountain); a rented headlamp with batteries costs 6 yuan; a rented coat and pants costs 40 yuan; a rented sleeping bag costs 20 yuan, but the owner didn’t want to carry it and didn’t rent it. He should have rented it if he had known it was going to rain; a raincoat costs 8 yuan; a rented backpack costs 15 yuan; a small safety lock costs 10 yuan; gloves cost 3 yuan, a total of 550 yuan.

The OP was returning home from Northeast China, from Liaoning to Chengdu, alone, and suddenly decided to climb Mount Huashan, so he changed his train ticket. It was so casual, but there were no sleeper berths to Mount Huashan, so he started to buy tickets as soon as he got on the train. Well, he could have a good rest.

Huashan Self-guided Tour Guide

Arrived at Huashan Station, you see the weather is pretty good, the sky is clear, the sun is shining, Huashan can be seen from a distance, but why did it start to rain as soon as we got on the mountain? It was cold and tiring in the early morning, and it was raining and windy. Can you imagine? . So, next I will write some precautions, pay attention, my friends!!!

1 When you arrive at Huashan Station, there are many taxi drivers at the entrance who lie to you and say that the 608 bus cannot reach the Huashan Scenic Area, and you can take a taxi for the lowest price of 20 yuan. Don't believe it, 608 can get you to the Huashan Visitor Center for 3.5 yuan. Of course, you can take a taxi if you want.

2 Huashan Visitor Center has buses that depart for the train station at 19:00 at the latest.

3 Even though the climate at the foot of Huashan is hot, the temperature on the mountain is around 5 to 6 degrees at night, so you must bring long clothes and long pants, and remember to bring sports shoes when climbing.

4 The lowest price for a safety lock at the foot of the mountain is 10 yuan, but it is 5 yuan at the top of the East Peak, West Peak, and South Peak.

5 So people told me that it was windy on the mountain and I shouldn’t bring an umbrella, so I believed them. After I got to the mountain, I realized that it was a mistake. If I had an umbrella, I would have a place to hide when it rained.

6 The higher you go up the mountain, the more expensive the water and fruits become. It is best to buy everything at the foot of the mountain and carry it up the mountain.

7 It will be very cold when you arrive at Dongfeng, so you don’t need to go up the mountain too early. There is plenty of time to go up the mountain at 10:30 in the evening. It usually takes 6 hours to climb up.
