On January 9, Sanya held a meeting to report on the research findings of key research projects conducted by various democratic parties and non-party figures. Wang Qiyang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech, while Pan Guohua, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, presided over the meeting.
The meeting reported on the research progress of key topics for 2025, and the municipal committees of various democratic parties and the Municipal Intellectuals Association reported on the research results of key topics in turn.
The meeting emphasized that all democratic parties and non-party figures should further raise their political awareness and continuously enhance their political, ideological, theoretical, and emotional identification with the leadership of the Communist Party of China and socialism with Chinese characteristics. They should firmly uphold the "two establishments" and resolutely achieve the "two safeguards" through concrete actions and effective work. They should fully leverage the unique advantages of the united front, adhere to serving the overall interests of the Party and the country, focus on major issues, and conduct in-depth investigations and research to ensure more accurate targeting, deeper analysis and judgment, and more practical policy recommendations, striving to produce more high-quality and transformable research results. They should comprehensively strengthen their own development, continuously improve their ability and level of fulfilling their responsibilities, continue to carry forward their fine traditions, and contribute their wisdom and strength to Sanya's role as a leading force and pioneer in building the Hainan Free Trade Port into an important gateway for my country's opening up to the outside world in the new era.
