Even as she left the meeting, Su Yangyang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association and Chairman of Shanghai Suyangyang Education Technology Co., Ltd., spoke with unwavering enthusiasm. Chen Yan, rotating vice president of the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association and president of Focus Media Strategic Research Institute, reviewed the work in 2025 and said that under the leadership of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association united the vast number of new social stratum members, actively offered suggestions and advice on the construction of Shanghai's "five centers", and delivered outstanding results in areas such as science and technology innovation empowerment and people's livelihood concerns.

Wei Zekai, a member of the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association, shared his experience participating in the "Discovering the Beauty of Shanghai" campaign: Over the past year, he conducted pre-event publicity at the Baoshan Riverside National Day event, visited Xuhui, Putuo, and other districts to experience new things, and used his mobile phone to record what he saw and heard, sharing the beauty of Shanghai and the spirit of the new social strata in the form of pictures and text on online platforms. At the conference, a documentary titled "The Serpent Accumulates Strength, the Horse Embarks on a New Journey—A Review of the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association's Work in 2025" was shown, leading attendees to relive the year's journey of hard work. Following this, the meeting reviewed and approved the 2025 work reports and financial reports of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board, and reported on the 2025 charitable donations made to Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province, as well as important matters such as the 2026 work plan and budget.
Following an election, Zhan Xu was appointed as the Vice President of the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association, and 58 new members and 19 new directors joined the association, injecting fresh blood into it. Wang Yun, Ding Guanghua, Chen Yan, and Tong Lin were elected as rotating Vice Presidents for 2026. The handover ceremony held on site marked the beginning of a new journey for the Shanghai New Social Stratum Association.
