When it comes to self-driving tours in western Sichuan, there are still many people who want to go, but they just don’t have much time. Here I would like to introduce you to a 3-4 day travel guide. If you are interested, you can take a look at the details together.
Route Overview:
Starting from Chengdu, Sichuan, we arrived at Ya'an via Feixian, Tianquan, Luding, Wasigou, Kangding, Xinduqiao, Tagong, Bamei, Danba, Xiaojin, Dawei, Siguniang Mountain, Wolong, Yingxiu, Dujiangyan, and finally returned to Chengdu. The whole self-driving journey takes about three days, and the price is less than two thousand, which is a relatively affordable self-driving tour route. This route includes the Chinese Panda Avenue in the north, Yingxiu Nature Reserve and Siguniang Mountain, Danba Jiaju Tibetan Village, the most beautiful village in China, etc. The scenery along the way is also super beautiful.

Attractions along the way:
Chengdu
Dujiangyan: The famous ancient water conservancy project Dujiangyan is located in the west of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. In ancient times, it belonged to Du'an County and was named Du'an Weir. After the Song and Yuan Dynasties, it was called Dujiang and was praised as the "treasure of Sichuan" that is "unique through the ages".
Chengdu Panda Base: Giant pandas are rare animals that are loved by everyone, a symbol of the world's biodiversity protection, and a symbol of peace and friendship. Giant pandas can be found in Chongzhou, Dujiangyan, Dayi, Pengzhou, Qionglai and other cities and counties under Chengdu. More than 80% of my country's giant pandas are distributed in Sichuan.
Wuhou Temple: Located on Wuhou Temple Street, Nanmen, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, it is the only temple in China that enshrines both the emperor and his ministers. It consists of the Wuhou Temple, the Temple of Han Zhaolie and the Hui Mausoleum. People are accustomed to referring to the three collectively as the Wuhou Temple.
Qingcheng Mountain: Qingcheng Mountain is one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China and is a famous Taoist mountain. Jianfu Palace was built in the Tang Dynasty and is quite large. Tianran Tuhuafang is a pavilion built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Tianshi Cave contains the statues of "Tianshi" Zhang Daoling and his 30th-generation grandson "Xujing Tianshi".
Luding
Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park: It gathers natural glaciers, snow-capped mountains, hot springs, primeval forests, wild animals and plants and other natural scenery. The most fascinating thing about Hailuogou is the glaciers in Hailuogou. At a lower altitude, you can see the glaciers pouring down from the high canyon. Standing at the foot of the mountain, you can see the Gongga Snow Mountain, which is covered with snow all year round, and it is magnificent and awe-inspiring.
Luding Bridge: Since the Qing Dynasty, this bridge has been an important passage from Sichuan to Tibet and a key military hub. The Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army passed through here during the Long March and captured Luding Bridge, making the bridge famous both at home and abroad.
Mount Gongga: The main peak of the Daxue Mountain in the Hengduan Mountains, it is the highest peak in Sichuan Province and is known as the "King of Mountains". It is also one of the mountains with the most developed glaciers in China.
Kangding
Muya Holy Land: "Muya Holy Land" was created by Kangding Muya Holy Land Scenic Area Tourism Development and Management Co., Ltd. and is located in Kangding, the world-renowned city of love songs. "Muya Xingkang" on the west side of Kangding Zheduo Mountain is a tourist attraction in Ganzi Prefecture that combines folk customs with natural scenery. It is also a special tourist area with the theme of "Tibetan Muya culture".
Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area
Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area consists of Siguniang Mountain, Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. It is located in Siguniang Mountain Town, Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It belongs to the Qionglai Mountains of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It consists of four continuous peaks, from Yaoguniang Mountain (Yaomei Peak), Sanguniang Mountain, Erguniang Mountain to Daguniang Mountain. Among them, Yaoguniang Mountain is 6,250 meters above sea level and is the second highest peak in Sichuan Province. The four peaks are covered with ice and snow all year round. Because Yaomei is the most slender, it is known as the Queen of Shu Mountains and the Eastern Alps. It is far away from Gongga Mountain, the "King of Shu Mountains".
