XINHUA, Xiangyang, Hubei, January 12 (Ma Furong and Zhao Shuang) -- 3,000 "New Year Warm Heart Packages" jointly donated by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hubei Province, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Xiangyang City were shipped from Xiangyang, Hubei Province on January 12 to Hungary, Serbia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, bringing New Year greetings to overseas Chinese.
According to reports, these "New Year's Warmth Packages" will be sent by air express to five embassies and consulates in the aforementioned four countries, and then distributed to local overseas Chinese.

The gifts include delicacies such as Xiangyang beef noodles, black sesame balls, and Wuhan hot dry noodles, as well as Tujia Xilankapu brocade handbags, rotating palace lanterns, and handwritten Spring Festival couplets.
Among them, the rotating palace lantern, a cultural and creative product, reflects the poem "Spring Dawn" by Tang Dynasty poet Meng Haoran and a hand-drawn illustration of Meng Haoran's life in his former residence at Lumen Mountain, bringing the feeling of spring "between rotating".
It is understood that the "New Year Warm Heart Package" is one of the most extensive, beneficial, and representative brand activities in the "Warm Overseas Chinese Action" series of initiatives. Since the Spring Festival of 2021, it has successively sent epidemic prevention materials and comfort items to overseas Chinese communities in nearly 100 countries.
Since 2023, Hubei Province has participated in the "New Year Warm Heart Package" donation activity for three consecutive years. In the previous two years, it sent gifts such as Laifeng lacquer chopsticks, boxwood combs, and handbags, scarves, and umbrellas with Xilankapu brocade patterns to overseas Chinese in countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, and Cambodia.
